Dinner at
the Natural History Museum
When GE acquired the UK life science company Amersham PLC, Blue Pebble were asked to arrange a celebratory dinner to launch the new company to the UK market place with the emphasis being a “5-star event with a stunning wow factor”.
Hosted by GEHC Senior Management, the event was held at the Earth Galleries of the Natural History Museum which provided a unique and stunning setting. With only 90 minutes from the close of the museum to the start of the reception, the gallery was transformed with specifically designed lighting and co-ordinated table decoration and flowers. The evening commenced with an exhibition of the company’s products during a cocktail reception after which, the dining hall was revealed with the drop of a silk screen. This, accompanied by an amazing ‘light son et luminiere’, had the assembled guests captivated, and the remainder of the evening followed with a series of presentations and a fabulous dinner.
Blue Pebble, working closely with the client, was ultimately responsible for venue choice and the implementation and management of all elements including production, lighting, venue dressing and catering to create an unforgettable evening. The ‘wow’ factor was certainly achieved!
“As ever, your flexibility with change and attention to detail ensured the implementation and smooth running of the event. It’s a pleasure to work with you as we move into GE Healthcare.”
